Title = Brand + Product + top features + one variant, de-duplicated and trimmed to 200 characters. Backend = your keywords with words already in the title removed, no commas, capped at 250 bytes (Amazon's limit). Suggestions only — always check your category's style guide in Seller Central.

Check the profit before you list it

SellerScope is a free Chrome extension that shows estimated profit, margin and Amazon fees right on the product page while you research. Pair it with this title tool to launch listings that are both findable and profitable.

How to write an Amazon title that ranks (and converts)

Amazon's search ranks partly on keyword relevance, but shoppers click on titles that read cleanly. The winning pattern is Brand → core product → the two or three attributes buyers filter on (size, material, count) → one variant. Stuff every keyword into the title and you hurt readability and can trip category limits; leave good keywords out and you lose search coverage. The fix is to keep the title human and move the rest of your keywords into the backend search terms field, which is hidden from buyers but still indexed.

FAQ

How long should an Amazon product title be?
Up to 200 characters in most categories, but ~80–150 keeps it from truncating on mobile. This tool shows a live count and warns past 200.
What are backend search terms?
A hidden ~250-byte keyword field in Seller Central. Don't repeat title words, don't use commas, don't use brands you don't own. This tool builds a de-duplicated string within the limit.
Do you cover fees and profit too?
Yes — use the Amazon FBA calculator for net profit after referral + fulfilment fees, or install SellerScope to see it on any product page.
